Vintage Cartier Santos Galbée — Two-Tone Automatic, Cartier Serviced

A beautifully restored vintage Cartier Santos Galbée, recently serviced and refinished by Cartier for its next chapter.

Crafted in stainless steel and 18K yellow gold, this Santos Galbée embodies one of Cartier’s most recognizable and enduring designs. Its two-tone construction gives the watch exceptional versatility, pairing easily with both yellow gold and white-metal jewelry and transitioning naturally from everyday wear to more formal settings.

The large-model case measures approximately 29mm across and 8.6mm thick, preserving the refined proportions that make vintage Cartier so distinctive. The white dial features black Roman numerals, signature blue Cartier hands, central seconds, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The watch is powered by an automatic movement.

CONDITION & CARTIER SERVICE

This watch was recently serviced directly by Cartier.

During the service, Cartier installed a new dial, crown, and folding buckle, serviced the movement, and refinished the exterior of the watch. It now presents in excellent overall cosmetic condition, with the added reassurance of recent manufacturer service.

One bracelet link is damaged. Cartier evaluated the affected link during service but was unable to repair it.

The damaged area is shown clearly in the photographs. On the wrist, it is relatively discreet and does not substantially affect the overall appearance of the watch. In our experience, the bracelet remains comfortable to wear.

The bracelet currently accommodates a wrist of up to approximately 6.25 inches. No additional links are included, so we strongly recommend confirming your wrist measurement before purchasing.

The damaged link has been taken into account in both our condition assessment and pricing.
